    Rokide® Flame Spray Rods for Maximum Thermal Spray Coating Protection

     

    Saint-Gobain created Rokide® ceramic flame spray rods to deliver highly wear-resistant coatings that protect metal & non-metallic surfaces in high-temperature, abrasive and corrosive environments. Used with a preliminary layer of Rokide® Ni-Chrome Bond Coat, Rokide® flame spray rods yield the ultimate coating solution to extend the life of parts & equipment.

    Rokide® rods optimize deposition efficiency while providing high particle-to-particle cohesive bonding. The process creates hard, chemically inert coatings far superior to those provided by powder systems. Thicker coatings -- up to 0.80 mm (0.030 inch) -- can be applied with the same thermal-resistant, chemical-resistant & electrical-resistant quality. The bottom line: An excellent surface finish that guarantees predictable performance & longer life in a cost-effective process across a wide range of demanding applications.
