Saint-Gobain’s sintered 300 series features three blocky shaped powders. The titania present in these formulations yields superior deposit efficiency & finishing characteristics compared to pure chromium oxide. Virtually free of chromium metal, these powders produce an extremely corrosion resistant coating ideal for pumps, shafts, seals, pistons and rolls.
Coarser particle sizes allow for thicker coatings, while medium or fine cuts are used when a thinner coating is required.
Saint-Gobain’s #340 & 341 are sintered & crushed blocky shaped powders that produce excellent wear & corrosion resistant coatings. The presence of silica & titania increases deposit efficiency & improves finish quality when compared to pure chromium oxide powders.
These powders are used to provide coatings on pumps, shafts, seals & rolls. Powders with larger particle size are ideal for repair work where thick coatings – up to 0.1 inch (2.5 mm) – are required. Smaller sized particles can be used to achieve a finer finish. Contact your Saint-Gobain Coating Solutions representative to determine the optimal thermal spray powder for your application.
Saint-Gobain’s #2020, #2021, #2525 & 2026HE are fused black powders that feature rounded particles for superior flow characteristics. These powders produce dense, very hard coatings with excellent resistance to wear & corrosion.
These powders, which are backed by Saint-Gobain’s strict control of size & chemistry, deliver excellent deposit efficiencies with high build-up rates for reliable, economical application.
With virtually no chromium metal, these powders are ideal for laser engraving of printing rolls (anilox rolls) & other applications where components, such as pump parts & paper rolls, are exposed to corrosive environments.
Saint-Gobain’s 3000 series features fused black powders that are rounded for superior flow characteristics. These powders produce coatings for applications where resistance to wear & corrosion are essential.
The rounded particle shape, combined with Saint-Gobain’s strict control of size & chemistry, produce dense, hard coatings. These characteristics also enable the powders to deliver excellent deposit efficiencies & coatings with high build-up rates for reliable, economical application.

The RUBY series features a line of high-purity aluminum oxide-chromium oxide alloy powders that produce coatings with far superior properties than standard chromium oxides.
The near-spherical morphology of RUBY powders ensures good flow properties for significantly faster build-up rates, which results in savings of both cost & time.
